I just though that I should post this video on overpopulation. A bit scary but some of the statements here are quite true.

Contraceptive's purpose is not only to make family planning effective, but also it helps people from acquiring sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) such as HIV, gonorrhea and all those diseases that would not only endanger your sexual life but your body as well. Millions of people around the world have suffered from HIV, especially in Africa. And still, people around the world believe that the best way to fight STD's other than knowing your partner well is to use contraceptives.
Though one thing is extra-marital sex but, things could get worse if would also endanger your health. I've read several emails from friends in the US about what they new about the RH bill. What they told was that they heard that someone in the Congress or Senate tried to pass a pro-abortion law, which shocked the, a bit. They're one of the people who does not really now what the RH bill is for. The RH bill is not pro-abortion. Full content and aims of the law can be seen on the RH bill link on top (index).

I got this statement from an abs-cbn news article when I read upon something about rural women being in favor of the immediate passing of the bill. These women even questioned the Church if they would be able feed their them with the non-passage of the bill. The group believes that the bill would strengthen the rights of women over their reproductive health. Although abstinence may be an answer, it going to be quite difficult for couples, especially husbands to really do that (quite a reality to some, as some wives may claim). I know we have a far different culture from England but somehow I would like to show their rationale' behind passing the law a long time ago. Though I don't really agree with the abortion part, most of what's in there is quite logical I believe.
